Yash Raj Movies has today launched the Thugs of Hindostan Trailer. The much-awaited trailer of Thugs of Hindostan has been finally unveiled today amid much fanfare. The mega movie is making headlines all over the world stars Aamir Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Katrina Kaif, Fatima Sana Shaikh and British actor Lloyd Owen in the lead roles.
Thugs of Hindostan trailer will be releasing on the big screen attached to YRF’s next release, the Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma-starrer Sui Dhaaga: Made in India which is releasing tomorrow.

Film Experts in India have speculated that Thugs of Hindostan will collect Rs 50 crore on its Day 1 at the box-office. If the film does manage to achieve this feat, it will become the first ever Indian film to do so. Currently, the record for the highest opening day is held by Baahubali: The Conclusion that earned over Rs 41 crore at the ticket windows.

The trailer of the film is 3 minute 33 seconds long and opens on an intense scene; The East India Company, which arrived in Indian with a primary purpose to trade, is now ruling the nation. Azaad, played by Amitabh Bachchan, a Hindustani, is determined to liberate his country. But it’s not that easy, the British have hired the biggest thug- Firangi, played by Aamir Khan, to stop him.

Thugs of Hindostan director Vijay Krishna Acharya told the reporters, “Thugs of Hindostan is not based on any book. The good and the bad in this film has come from my head. We have had very relevant period films. I wanted to make something irrelevant. It is hard to get the audience to the theatre to watch films, so I wanted to give them something spectacular.”
Amitabh Bachchan remembers Yash Chopra
“I remember how Yash Chopra had a small cabin as his office and had an accountant. And today, YRF has become so big. I thank Aditya Chopra for making his father’s dreams come true,” Amitabh Bachchan told reporters at Thugs of Hindostan trailer launch event.
Thugs of Hindostan actress Fatima Sana Shaikh told the reporters, “After Dangal, I was made to do a lot of physical training again. I have never done archery before. I had to be very agile and I was trained for it. It was great fun to work with this wonderful cast.”
