Made with gold, silk and studded with hundreds of precious diamonds, the Stilettos have been designed by UAE-based, Jada Dubai. Unveiled on Thursday, the pair of gold patent leather footwear are trimmed with a row of sparkling 15-carat diamonds, reports Arab News.

The fashion project is a collaboration between Jada Dubai and Passion Jewellers, UAE.
Hemant Karamchandani, chief executive of Passion Jewellers, which supplied the jewels for the shoes, said, “Dubai is the city of millionaires and billionaires . we see it as a potential market, along with the entire (Gulf) region.”

While the displayed shoes are of European size 36 (UK – 3.5), the pair can be custom-made to fit the particular wearer’s feet, once the full payment is made by the client.

The title of world’s most expensive shoes was previously held by a pair of gold and diamond-covered stiletto heels by UK designer Debbie Wingham. The shoes, reportedly worth $15 million, were made for a Middle Eastern client’s daughter.
