Saina Nehwal Biopic Soon - Shraddha Kapoor as Saina NehwalIt’s official now, Amole Gupte’s upcoming Saina Nehwal biopic, starring Shraddha Kapoor, goes on floors. According to a press release, Shraddha Kapoor has kickstarted the filming of the biopic on 22 September 2018.

Shraddha Kapoor has two releases this year, Stree and Batti Gul Meter Chalu. It has been really a busy year for Shraddha.

In a statement given to PTI, the Stree star Shraddha told, “It is a physically demanding film. But it is an inspiring story as so many people look up to her. I feel grateful to be playing that part. I will begin shooting for it next month and the prep is on. I am having a great time playing badminton. It is fabulous to be part of such a great story.”

Shraddha Kapoor further said in a statement, “I’m really excited about this film. Saina is the country’s sweetheart, a champion and a youth icon. It’s a challenging role for an actor as it requires an immense amount of transformation.”
