Elon Musk Announced SpaceX first Sapce Tourist

Elon Musk has now announced SpaceX first Space Tourist name, who would be the world’s first private passenger to fly around the moon. Japan Billionaire Yusaku Maezawa would be the first space tourist to travel in SpaceX.

Yusaku Maezawa will fly on Space Exploration Technologies Corp.’s BFR rocket on the space trip in the year 2023. Before this, the last manned voyage to the moon was the Apollo 17 mission in 1972.

Addressing to media Musk stated, “He is, I think, the bravest person and most willing to do so,” Elon Musk referred to this travel as “dangerous mission” and “not a walk in the park.”

SpaceX first Space Tourist Maezawa, whose net worth is $2.3 billion, is the founder and CEO of Japan’s second-largest e-commerce company Start Today Co.

After Elon Musk announced the name of Maezawa as SpaceX first Space tourist, the shares of Start Today fell as much as 4.7 percent before narrowing their slide to 1.5 percent in Tokoyo on Tuesday.

Elon Musk has not disclosed the amount Maezawa is paying for the travel but he has described his mission as nothing short of making humans a multi-planetary species.
