According to Science, People who drink Tea are more creative and focusedGood news has come out for all the Tea lovers in the world. According to a recent scientific study claims an interesting fact, that drinking tea improves mental clarity and enhances mental creativity.

The study was done by Perking University and according to them, the presence of caffeine and theanine in Tea improves attentiveness and alertness in the body. The study claims that the flow of creative juices in mind can be felt within moments of finishing up a cup of tea.

Group of a psychologist from the Perking University conducted the test on students with an average age of 23. Half of the student group were given a glass of water while the other half was given black tea before the monitoring process begun.

The test was conducted in two phases, One of the test phases was to build an attractive and creative construction out of building blocks while the other test phase was to give a cool name to a fictional noodle restaurant. For building block test, tea drinkers scored 6.54 on an average and water drinkers scored 6.03 on an average. For the other test, tea drinkers scored 4.11 on an average and water drinkers scored 3.78 on an average.

The report stated, “This work contributes to understanding the function of tea on creativity and offers a new way to investigate the relationship between food and beverage consumption and the improvement of human cognition”.

The report further stated that the role of caffeine and theanine in the tea enhances attention and cognitive function of the brain.
